What our customers say

640 sq ft custom patio cover

SC construction was recommended to us by our pool builder. We met with Scott, the owner, who took all of our wishes and designed us a patio cover that exceeded our expectations.

While waiting on our custom order, Alexis did a great job keeping us informed and updated.

We had two assemblers knock it out in two days. During the process, while unfortunately being out of town, they did a great job sending me pictures, FaceTiming me and calling/texting. There were several last minute details I needed to change and they graciously accommodated all of them.

The electrician, John, was again very communicative and responsive to all of my very specific requests.

The whole process went smooth and we love our 640 sqft patio cover that has multiple lights, ceiling fans and an abundance of outlets. The sleek smooth black finish with 8x8 post gives it a modern and sturdy impression.

Now that the process is done and SC has been paid, Scott the owner, continues to be responsive whenever we’ve reached out to him.

We highly recommend using SC Construction.

Sunroom on a new foundation

SC construction installed my sunroom. My review is several months after the installation including the winter season with rains.

The team were very easy to work with honest and excellent at execution. They in fact advised me to demolish the existing Foundation and build a new one. I was especially surprised at this because most of the contractors try to cut costs and get the job done.

They took a few days to demolish the construction and another few days to install the new Foundation. Then a couple of weeks to install the sunroom. I haven't had any leaks or issues since then, despite several months of rain.

Do yourself a favor get a few local quotes first then take a drive to SC Construction in Modesto. Don’t complain it’s too far because when you see with your own eyes what products they carry you will want to seal the deal with them. These products are an investment that shouldn’t be purchased without actually seeing it. The wide range of style and materials are so important. There is so much substandard stuff out there. Scott and his team love what they do and it shows. I’m so glad I took the chance on calling them even though they are in Modesto. I can’t wait for the enjoyed times to follow.

Old pergola replaced with a modern cover

SC Construction is the real deal. We are in the process of demolishing our existing old & outdated pergola and replace it with a modern one that includes lights, fans, Bluetooth speakers etc. We had 2 other companies come by but none were as professional and knowledgeable as Zeb from SC Construction! Zeb was on time and took his time to survey the project. He provided multiple options that were cost effective as well as industry standards. Zeb shared his expertise to include or exclude some features. Finally, Zeb provided an estimate on site! This was so helpful as others made us wait for days and took away the option of realtime modifications. Zeb's estimate was competitive and fair. We look forward to completing this project with SC Construction.

Alumawood cover retrofit

We needed some retrofit to our Alumawood patio cover. From start to finish, it showed to be a professional organization.

The crew that was assigned our project were top notch and knew their job. Ricky, Frank and Felipe worked as a well oiled team, even in the summer heat. I would highly recommend them for any project.

Patio cover

Scott came to our home to provide a bid for a patio cover installation and he was by far the most knowledgeable and professional person we considered. Not only did his portfolio stand out from the rest but his pricing was the most competitive. The process for getting permits was a breeze and his crew did a fantastic job. We would absolutely recommend reaching out to SC Construction if you need anything. You would be doing yourself a disservice by not considering them.

Two patio covers with ceiling fans

SC Construction installed 2 patio covers with ceiling fans at our home. This company has an awesome crew and the work was excellent. They also replaced 80 feet of redwood fencing. Scott was great to work with from beginning to finish date. His crew was hard working and a pleasure to work with. A shout out to George, Ulysses and Jacial. We are very happy with the result.

Walkable panels on an Alumawood cover

I just had my final walkthrough with SC Construction. I have had an Alumawood patio cover for 22 years, and I (unknowingly and regrettably) let past workers walk on it (painters, window washers, etc.). It wasn't made for that and I wanted to get the roof panels replaced, as the frame was in great shape. The company that installed it no longer was in the business of patio covers, so I was pleased to find SC Construction, a premier installer, right here in the Central Valley. They have great communication regarding schedule and arrival times, and although they normally just do full installations, were willing to use my frame to install higher quality panels that can be walked on. Big money saver! Every one who came out, from the estimator to the workmen to the supervisor doing the final walkthrough was professional, knowledgeable, and very personable. I highly recommend this company!

Patio screened in

SC Construction delivered an excellent product at a very fair price.

All of the installers were very accommodating and polite. Alexander went out of his way to make sure we were happy with the entire process.

S C Construction will build a quality product. We are extremely happy with the screening in of our patio!

Patio cover

SC Construction just completed my patio cover this week. Everyone in the process was a professional and easy to work with. Their pricing was fair and the work was excellent. The installers were respectful of my property and did a good cleanup after the installation.

The only downside was they were so busy this summer that it took a while for the material to arrive and get me on the schedule. However, once everything came in they were actually able to move me up a few days. All in all, everything turned out great and I'm very pleased. Good job guys.

Backyard landscaping

Landscaped part of our backyard. Started with set idea but as it progressed we all improvised and it turned out terrific. Those who did the work were professional and courteous during the process. Recommend them highly and planning to continue with them with other work that is needed.

Estimate visit

I found SC Construction through Yelp Projects. Zeb came out to evaluate my space. He was communicative with his on time arrival. This was my first time looking for these type of services and he had a lot of great suggestions of what he has seen and done on the past. He had samples of the product that I could see and evaluate its quality. He was able to give me a quote. I've had many follow up questions and he has been very responsive.

Outdoor construction

Had such a great experience working with SC Construction! Scott was great to work with and the ladies in the office were so helpful and communicative. The Installers were professional and you can tell they enjoy what they do! Highly recommend SC Construction for any of your outdoor construction needs!

Patio cover

Great company to work with. Had my cover installed about 4 yrs ago and they were very efficient and professional. Just called them asking for additional information and Scott was so helpful and accommodating. Definitely would recommend them for patio covers.
